Pastor Ben Meyers

Ben is a graduate of the U.S Naval Academy, and holds a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Ministry from Trinity Theological Seminary. He has been married for 41 years to his wife Novia and they have 3 children and 6 grandchildren at the moment! Pastor Ben loves teaching people To love and follow Jesus as he teaches them the Bible each week.  And, Ben wants every Jesus follower to find friendship and connection in a small group.  From there, we grow as believers and inspire our non-believing friends to come and find the Jesus we love. In his free time Ben loves to spend time with family, ride motorcycles, and fish & hunt in California and Oregon.

Novia Meyers

Novia Meyers is our Women’s Ministry Director. Novia is married to our Sr. Pastor Ben Meyers and has been a Christian for over 50 years!  She is skilled at leading small groups, counseling & helping women on their faith and life journeys.  Novia is a mother of three, and the grandmother of 6.  Novia has a BS degree in Journalism from the University of Hawaii.

Our beloved Worship Leader Brady Renick, suffered a fatal heart attack in February 2023 and we have missed him ever since greatly.  We are searching for our next Worship Leader and will keep you posed as to our progress.  Please pray for Brady's wife Barbara and his family.

Stefany Hempel

Stefany is our Baycities Kid's Coordinator.  a teacher herself, she also organizes the teachers, the weekly studies, games and crafts that are part of the Sunday experience here at Baycities Lomita.  Stefany is married to Charles and has a BA in Phychology from the University of California, Irvine.  She a long-time Christian who loves kids and serving Jesus.  She is a homeschool teacher of her two children, Kaiden and Kassidy, and serves on the school board of Coastal Academy.

Assoc. Pastor Ethan & Alex

Michael

Ethan is our Assoc. Pastor and serves as our Youth MInister here at Baycities Lomita.  Ethan is a 2015 graduate of the U.S Air Force Academy, and has risen to the rank of Captain. A celebrated basketball player in High School and College, Ethan is a great teammate and leader.   Ethan is also a gifted evangelist and teacher and along with his wife Alex, they will challenge and lead our JH & HS ministry here at Baycities Lomita.  Alex is a graduate of the University of Texas, Nursing School, and served 5 years as a Navy Nurse.  She has years of Young Life leadership experience.  The MIchaels have 2 boys, Emmett & Maverick.
