WHAT WE BELIEVE

We Believe in Jesus

We believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate, fully God and fully man; that He was conceived and born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and sacrificed Himself to be punished in substitution for sinners. By the blood he shed on the cross and His resurrection from the dead, He obtained for us eternal redemption, the forgiveness of sins, and life everlasting. He was raised bodily and ascended to the right hand of the Father. He will return to the earth personally and visibly to consummate His kingdom.

We Believe in The Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit regenerates and forever indwells all Christians. We believe the sign gifts were for a time and place that has already occurred before the Cannon of Scripture was completed.  We believe the Holy Spirit endwells every believer at the moment of conversion and gives various gifts of ministry and service to believers.  These gifts empower and edify the church to fulfill its calling and mission. The Bible is the final authority for faith and practice for Christians.

We Believe in Salvation

We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. No ritual, work, or any other activity is required in order to be saved. Sanctification, the process of being changed into the image of Jesus, is 100 percent God's working in us and 100 percent our working out our salvation through obedience and conforming our will's to HIs will.   We believe that all the redeemed, once saved, are kept by God’s power and are thus secure in Jesus forever. Salvation has three parts:  Justification is being saved from the Penalty of sin at conversion by putting ones faith in Jesus.  Sanctification is being saved from the Power of Sin through the indwelling Holy Spirit and the obedient actions of the believer.  And, Glorification, is the third part of Salvation.  It is when we enter Heaven, and are changed into our heavenly, imperishable bodies, and are then saved from the Presence of siin forever in heaven!

We Believe in Baptism, Communion, & The Church

We believe that water baptism and the Lord’s Supper are to be observed until the time of Christ’s return. They are not a means of salvation. Baptism in water is by immersion is a direct command of our Lord for believers only. Water baptism is an outward act of obedience and is a symbol of the Christian’s identification with Christ in death, burial and resurrection. Communion is commanded by Jesus to be done to remember His death and sacrifice for our sins.  It is to be done regularly to never forget the high cost of redemption and the sacrifice of Jesus who paid that cost with his own life.

Matthew 26:26-29; 28:19; Acts 8:36-39; Romans 6:3-11; 1 Corinthians 11:23-34; Col 2:12; 1 Peter 3:21.

We believe that the church is God’s primary instrument through which He is fulfilling His redemptive purposes in the earth. To equip the saints for the work of ministry, God has given apostolic, prophetic, evangelistic, pastoral and teaching gifts to the church. We also affirm the priesthood of all believers and the importance of every Christian being joined with and actively involved in a local community of believers  . God has called the church to preach the gospel to all nations, making disciples who make more disciples who will win the lost and train believers for a lifetime of effective Christian ministry.  We believe every person is a ministering person for Jesus!  The church is also the Bride of Christ, and will be raptured from the earth, brought together with Jesus in Heaven, and will then return with Jesus at His Second Coming and reign with Him during the Millinium and on into eternity.
